Right now I'm narrowing my diecast collecting to focus mostly on 1/24 and 1/25 scale cars / trucks for my scale automobile hobby collecting. These are much cheaper than having to spend big bucks on the real thing and I'm just doing it by finding cars here and there so I'm not out paying big bucks for special editions or chase cars unless I get them in a trade by chance or find them on a store shelf. Any information that I do put up about them will be under the model cars section of this website. I do pick up some other scales such as 1/32 1/43 now and then. Finally decided to limit myself to what I collect in 1/64 scale thus no more major Hot Wheels / Matchbox collecting. I'll focus on 1/24 and 1/25 from Maisto, JADA, ERTL, Johnny Lightning and many others. From needing some more room, I decided to sell or trade off some of my extra diecast, DVD movies and other items so be sure to view the For Sale / Trade / Wanted section to see what I have up for grabs. This also has a want list so perhaps we could work out a trade if you got something interesting especially diecast model cars in any scale - Updated with more DVD movies! Looks like I can never get my radio control vehicle collection straightened out as I do need to get that section organized here and do some reviews even if they aren't up to par as other sites. I do owe you visitors at least one review by the end of this year and before the bad weather comes or perhaps for the new year with an indoor rc. Maybe a Maisto or New Bright vehicle. My collection radio control collection includes some nice 1/16 - 1/18 cars such as a 1970 Cuda, new and old Mustangs, Challengers, Chargers, a Lamborghini, Cop Cars, Muscle Cars, etc. The big 1/10th cars are a bit much for me to handle so I'm just staying with the smaller scales except for a few of them such as the cheaper toy grade from Maisto and New Bright. I am looking to find a new low cost hobby grade 1/10 to 1/12 scale car with digital proportional steering and throttle to run on my driveway. Something cheap with a brushed 540 motor, nothing super fast. I am also still playing some PC racing and driving games sticking to the older ones that I can find from new old stock since the new ones are getting harder to find to match my computer and video card specifications as they are not current to play what is out there now in racing and driving games. I did find some fun online driving and racing games on a few free game sites which are fun but not as in-depth as regular games. On another note, I am not that much into slot cars so I've been out of the loop for awhile but keep tabs on some areas, mostly HO slots. I did put up a small slot car shows section as a courtesy for my friend. They will always be an interest of mine. I do appreciate the visitors I get though. Thanks for stopping by as always, Ken |
