My diecast car / truck collecting update: I am narrowing down my diecast collecting to just getting a few 1/18 scale cars at this time and hoping to clear out some extra 1/24 while picking up some 1/64 here and there such as Hot Wheels / Johnny Lightning for my scale automobile hobby collection. These are much cheaper than having to spend big bucks on the real thing and I'm just doing it by finding cars here and there so I'm not out paying big bucks for special editions or chase cars unless I get them in a trade by chance or find them on a store shelf. Any information that I do put up about them will be under a new diecast section of this website. I do pick up some other scales if they look interesting such as 1/32, 1/43 but trying to limit my 1/24 collection at this time. The main companies I collect include but not limited to Maisto, JADA, ERTL, Johnny Lightning, M2 Machines, Greenlight and many others.

Check out the local car show where I will be donating some 1/24 1/25 diecast and a
brand new 1/12 1967 Mustang GT R/C car to help the local Minersville Rotary
Club. I figured this way they will have some actual car-related items
for their Chinese auction.
So I would have some extra funds and room for these 1/18 diecast cars I am picking up whenever the budget allows for it, I am selling off some of my 1/24 diecast model car collection including other items such as DVD movies, plastic model car kits, etc. so be sure to view the For Sale / Trade / Wanted section for a complete list. This also has my wants so I am open to trades as well. - Updated with plastic model car kits, pre-painted 1/24 die-cast model kits and more boxed mint factory built 1/24 1/25 diecast cars! Looks like I can never get my radio control vehicle collection straightened out as I do need to get that section organized. I know that I actually do owe you visitors at least one review by the end of this year hopefully. Maybe something nobody else have reviewed yet. My collection radio control collection includes some nice 1/16 - 1/18 cars such as a 1970 Cuda, new and old Mustangs, Challengers, Chargers, a Lamborghini, Cop Cars, Muscle Cars, etc. The big 1/10th cars are a bit much for me to handle so I'm just staying with the smaller scales except for a few of them such as the cheaper toy grade from Maisto and New Bright. I am looking to find a new low cost hobby grade 1/10 to 1/12 scale car with digital proportional steering and throttle to run on my driveway. Something cheap with a brushed 540 motor or even a 380 as I don't need it to be a speed demon. I am at a stand-still playing PC racing and driving games since I was able to play most of them on my older XP box but now with my newer Windows 7 unit I need to track down games that will work with the OS and newer architecture. I have found some online driving and racing games on a few free game sites which are fun but not as in-depth as boxed CD/DVD games. These are running smoothly again with my newer PC since it has the memory and better processor to handle to more advanced online games that are out there. On another note, I am not that much into slot cars so I've been out of the loop for awhile but keep tabs on some areas, mostly HO slots. I did put up a small slot car shows section as a courtesy for my friend. They will always be an interest of mine. I do appreciate the visitors I get though. Thanks for stopping by as always, Ken |
